My Friday favourites are here again………comes around quick, doesn’t it !!
the weeks are flying by , only 3 more days of school and they’re not back till the 27th of August !
Right then ,,,,,, let’s go shopping 🙂
NO..1 Tea with Rachael & Stephen.
You’ll come across lots of fun cushions , cards and party invites in this shop , the hand stitched bicycle cushion I’m featuring today is 10″ x 8″ and has a great backing in red , blue and black , depicting scooters , tandems , tricycles and American style pull carts , you know ! the trendy red ones 🙂
NO..2 Saffron Barr.
OOOOOOOOhhhhhhh , doesn’t it look too delicious for words , I love handmade soap , the more rustic and lumpy the better 🙂
Patchouli essential oil and rose fragrance oil combined, making an exotic looking soap with the advantage of a long-lasting fragrance.
Most of the soaps are 100g and others for sale in the shop are ~ Juicy Pear ~ Rose Geranium ~ orange Spice ~ and the best seller Black Raspberry and Vanilla…..sounds heavenly, mmm…..
NO..3 Monique Boutique.
Here we have a chunky black wire knot key-ring , I really like this idea , so simple but it looks beautiful , will be strong enough to hold plenty of keys and especially important in most bags…be easy to grab !
At Monique Boutique there’s fabulous jewellery made out of keyboard parts , bags , toys , baby shoes , cards and oodles more…65 things to be precise .
NO..4 ~ Light and Dew.
Here’s a lovely thing …. I adore antique furniture , especially classics like this Thonet chair , the modern fabric perfectly compliments the 1920’s chair and brings it bang up to date.
Originally a desk chair the legs have been reduced slightly making it perfect for a bedroom or perhaps a fireside chair , it’s made of beech with a dark stain. It’s measurements are 26″ x 21″ x 18″ and it has the original Thonet makers stamp on the base.
NO..5 Rebecca Kemp ~ Guildford.
Rebecca makes one of a kind curious creatures called Pheeples.
This one is Walter , crafted from grey Merino wool with a purple ‘heart’ and turquoise wire glasses , he’s just toooooo cute !!
Walter measures 90mm high by 60mm …………………….and……………..he has friends………………. x
NO..6 Kathryn Driffield ~ Les Petit Anglais.
Oh , how I’d love my daughter to be 2 again……….this is theeeee most adorable party dress! it’s got everything going for it , flowers , red , fluffy ruffles and an absolute must…… the twirl factor 🙂
Kathryn has some gorgeous girls’ dresses in her shop including one very special dress-up costume…….none other than a Kate Middleton wedding gown , click on this red ruffled wonder and be transported to girly heaven 🙂
NO..7 Megan Cheetham ~ Salisbury.
In Megan’s shop, Married to the House you can buy funky applique cushions decorated with applique and machine free arm embroidery…something I’d love to try someday….once I’ve unearthed the sewing machine from the dark recesses of the workshop 😉
This little painting caught my eye , ‘Finished Coffee’ , it’s an original acrylic , gloss varnished on canvas , measuring 6″ x 4″ , the outside is 5.5 x 7.5 allowing a good-sized area for framing.
NO..8 Linda Carmichael ~ Northern Ireland.
A super fun shop , you have to take a look ! this resin bangle featuring real colouring pencils is just one of a range Linda makes for Ruby Bijou , her shop on Folksy.
Other items in the jewellery range are studs , brooches , necklaces and drop ear-rings all fashioned from pencils 🙂
NO..9 Raw Dezign ~ Birmingham.
What a statement wall clock………it’s a Polyhedra ( news to me 🙂 )
It measures 7″ diameter and has a non ticking clock mechanism , you can choose from gold , black and silver hands and custom colours are available.
Raw Dezign individually casts resin to form all sorts of homewares , lampshades , chandeliers , vases, more clock designs and they also sell bowls made from melted toy soldiers ….fab !
So there we are Folksy fiends , another week of lovelies.
Enjoy the week-end and I hope the sun shines for you x
